Sunset, Moonrise, Moonset Times

If you love the dim stuff like I do, that pesky garish moon can be very annoying. But the new moon is not the only time to avoid the brash satellite... if you catch the dark time between sunset and moonrise, or the dark time between moonset and sunrise, your dark sky is preserved (well, there are still those other nasty problems of light pollution and weather). Here is a way to checking various dates for dark skies:
