To play the game, you must permit running the Java applet (Press OK, or RUN if your browser asks you). If you type the space bar and it doesn't start, try clicking on the applet, and then type space.
Instructions to this two player game: Have both players use the same keyboard, and try to type the letter on your side of the screen first. If you are quicker than your opponent, you the rope is pulled in your direction! Keep pulling until you win!
